Which state you are working in? If USCIS thinks Nebraska Service centre has the jurisdication for your I-485 based on Job location then their is nothing to worry.
Maybe your PD is current and USCIS wants to complete processing of your I-485.

I have a valid H1-B visa till November 2011from Company A. I joined Company B in July 2009. I have got my Company B approval notice I-797 from USICS.
Due to my fathers health I'm travelling to Pakistan in October for a one week vacation. I have my approval notice from Company B and the visa transfer is done. My new approval notice is till June 2012.
My question is do I have to go for stamping when I go to Pakistan because I changed companies even though I have a valid visa from my previous company and an approval notice from my current company?

You can travel using A's stamped visa, you do not have to go for stamping. Show your A's visa stamp and B's approved 797 at POE when you return. POE officer will issue I-94 validity up to B's 797 expiry date. Also, carry recent paystubs and employment verification letter to be safer.

Hi,
My 9th year H1 expires this month and I am planning to use EAD to continue in my job (not extending my H1B). Can you please tell:
1) What do I need to do to with respect to Employer and USCIS to move to EAD status from H1B?
2) I read in some forum posts: there is a new law OR amendment - people working on EAD with adjustment of status will be deported.. we need to continue maintaining H1B status..is it legitimate?
3) My current Advance Parole is valid till Oct'09. As I move to EAD, is AP renewal required for any other reason other than travel purpose?

Visa is required when you have to travel outside US and reenter again.You can get as many extensions as possible by the law.visa stamp is not a problem for your next extension.

the change in salary ($76K to 120K) is a cause for concern. It depends how long ago you filed your labor. If it has been greater than 5 years, IMO the salary change may be ok. Rather than the titles, the job duties have to reasonably match.

I am on H1B visa staying in Missouri state and my employer location is the same county. I recently got a project outside Missouri and client worksite is in Arizona. I am expected to travel Monday to Thursday from Missouri to client worksite but not required to move to Arizona. In this case where I am travelling does my employer need to file for LCA amendment? I have come across posts that if you move to a new worksite you might need LCA amendment but not sure in this case where I am travelling every week.

There is nothing called "H1b transfer" basically every company applies new H1b but it is within quota and you can have multiple companies holding your h1b visa but you can work only for one company on full time rest part time and there is no need cancel H1b, just go and join the company you want to join. I am worried about my employer. Given the fact about I-485 apps and the last few days of labor in the previous month I have doubts about my employer. He is a very mean and hopeless desi employer and I am worried if he sold out my labor to some high bidder. is there any way i can find out if my labor is still infact in my name. any thoughts
