You are still a legal permanent resident and can apply for a job proving your eligibility with your Social Security card and valid drivers license/state ID.
Get a new card by filling out form I-90 with USCIS and pay the required fees.

Thanks for letting me know. I think paskal is in India now. Anyways we had a very small window of time to seek someone quickly. I have found one member willing to reveal his name and give the interview. The information is forwarded to the reporter. The reporter has to quickly do a story so that should be all for now. Is there a Risk?
I'm working in Company 'A'. My company is filing for H1 extension for me along with my wife's H4 Extension in the month of April (before that it is not possible it seems - according to lawyer or Imm. dept of company 'A')
Company 'B' is filing H1 visa for my wife on April 1st.
So my question is: Is there a RISK to file 2 separate petitions (H4 Extension and H1) in the same time frame?
If yes, what's the option?
If no, should I say to my employer or lawyer (Company 'A') to not to file H4 extension for my wife because of the overlap of time frames?

my GC is applied for future employment by company A on july2007.I did concurrent filing of 140 and 485.My I-140 approved on Feb 2008 and waiting for 485 approval. My PD belongs to 2005 mar EB2.
I am still working with my old company B .
My question is Am i eligible to change company C

1)on Feb 19 th 2008 came to US with H1B Visa stamp of Comp A having
validity till AUG 2010
2)Transferred VISA to Comp B by applying with in 15-20 days after
landing into USA and got approved till Feb 2011.
3)after working for 10months in Comp B applied for transfer to Comp C
4)after getting receipt started working with Comp C
5)on Jan 21,2009 acc to USCIS site RFE was issued
6)on Apr 10,2009 Visa denied. I am still waiting for the details of the RFE and denial from my attorney?
Q1) Am I still legal to stay,if so till how many days or am I

she is currently in india . coming back on 04/15/2009. will there be any problem for her while coming back. I am july 2007 filer on priority Date eb3 ( 04/23/2003). I have left my employer last year.My 140 was approved on feb 2007. what are my options.

Is your wife travelling on H4 or AP.In both cases she should be fine.If she will travel on H4 then this is totally unrelated as your H1 is still valid and and she will be fine,if she is on AP then after RFE your case is suspended for about 3 weeks when you reply for the RFE and according to me she will be safe in the interim period of suspension to travel.
Please consult your attorney for confirmation.

Called the local international airport cutoms division and they made me come down to the airport and after showing the correct documentation issued new I-94 cards with correct I94 dates. Try this and you should face no problems i hope.
I'm from Michigan and i went to the Metro airport in detroit.

i don't personally know any attorney nor do I have any experience. But I know that anyone (including Indians) will qualify and this is always current and no labor cert needed. You can go from 140 to 485 in a short period of time and then get a 2 yr conditional GC after which if u still maintian ur initial invest (500k or 1M depending on target area of investment) then u will get final GC.
You also need to create employment opportunities for at least 10 people in the permanent resident or US citizen categories during those 2 years. Not sure if I-140 is required.

Shustermann says that today ist the last day that all the employment- based-preference categories are current (exception unskilled workers). Ok, now he sasy : We recommand that Employers and their attorneys e-filing their I-140 today.
Please explain me if thats so important to file today the I-140 becouse just today the priority date are current.
I dont understand whats has the filing form I-140 to do with the priority Dates. Priority date is the PERM date??

On page towards the bottom it prompts the doctor to enter details of the tb skin test.
Did u actually take the test? If you did, then perhaps ur doc missed it.
If i remember correctly, the doc i went to gave us two copies of the form, one that was sealed for uscis and the other for our reference. Anyway, if they dont have a copy of it, get a new one and make sure this info is filled out and any attach any additional relevant doc and send it to uscis.
If u got a lawyer, i suggest you get them to send the info with an attached letter etc.

Hi, Last August 07, I have applied for 140 & 485 and have a priority date of Feb 2005. I got married in July 08. Now, I can't apply 485 for my spouse as dates are not current. My 140 got approved. I am just worried that My 485 might get approved before I could apply 485 for my spouse. And no one knows when 485 date will be current again. Any ideas? Any one is in my situation?
