Yea I have kinda the same problem. I have 3.7gb of music and I love the nano. The smallness is so much more conveniant especially for working out and running, but in like one more day ill be out of space. I dont listen to all the music in my itunes anyway so ill just have to be selective. It sounds like the nano would be the best bet for you aswell.

Is anyone else having trouble getting new WUs? Ever since yesterday I have not been able to get replacement WUs to replace my finished ones on my 2 main computers. I keep on getting a 503 error from the server which I believe means that the server is down... but I just moved to college a couple of days ago and these are my first new WUs since moving so it could be something funny about the internet here. Anyone know what might be going wrong?
Thanks!
mcg
UPDATE: I've been able to get a new WU on one of my two computers here in college, so I don't think its the 'net connection. The other computer still hasn't picked up a WU though... still error 503.
Thanks!

How old are some of you people anyway?
I mean, what kind of person goes around wondering whether other people think he has an Iphone or an Ipod touch?
Get a life or grow up, or both!

I really like the griffin elevator but im looking for one where i can use the laptop comfortably while its not connected to a different screen
Hmm, I personally think that you can still use the Elevator comfortably, as it's only 5 inches high. You could also connect a wireless keyboard + mouse if that would be more comfortable.
But if you want to get a little stand while using the Macbook, I'd reccommend you getting some sort of Laptop Ramp, like the Standivarius Aero. (http://www.standivarius.com/shop/2-aero-attachable-laptop-stand.html)
Good luck in finding a decent stand!

I actually kind of dig the name MacBook Air. I can't wait to hear Steve announce the details.

When compared to the brand new black one my brother got, the white is far better. The difference is so dramatic, nothings been changed on the Antennagate black phone. That's a total shame.
This is really good to hear. Are your and your brother's phone on the same network? Does his suffer from the death grip problem or just weak signal in general?
I've just sold my iPhone 4 to a friend (who didn't seem to care too much about the weak antenna) because the signal would fluctuate from five to one bars and constantly miss calls, compared to another friend's iPhone 3Gs with a solid five bars in the same location. This could give me an excuse to buy the white one :D

Well, I finally got something else different to the 6701s:
Project 6067
TPF: 5min 11s
PPD: 7906
Not bad, especially for just 60W of power.
Rob
nice! so i wonder, is it capable of bigadv units? (not that i'd do that, but knowing that it could)

Not sure the sarcastic comments and put downs were required, I thought I made it quite clear I didn't know what I was doing, hence asking for advice. To reiterate my question and perhaps make it more clear - I was hoping someone might know of a online resource or book which would give guidance on what type of font works well in certain circumstances. Such a thing might not exist as it's such a broad area and very specific to each illustration or logo, but in the interests of self improvement I thought I would ask.
I'll try and upload some examples when I'm at my computer

I was gonna head down, means an early early start though! I was about 30th in the queue for the 3g - but 7th to leave the store - but that wasn't until like 1330! with all the issues signing up to o2.

Processor: bus speed I originally had this, but couldn't find it for every model. I'll try and add it.
Memory: how many open slots I was considering doing another 'Upgrade Guide', but perhaps one great big one would be best...
HD: speed of HD Something I got rid of purely because I couldn't find the speed of the Mac mini's (is it that bad? Again, I'll try...
Optical: speed of Superdrive *adds to list*
Display: external monitor spanning vs. mirroring Is this really needed, as you can usually hack it anyway.
Price: US$ as well *cough*
Ports: PowerBooks have a PC card slot; also maybe a separate category for audio to do list.
Notes: maybe make a separate box for "Last Updated" good idea.
...enter the specs you want (i.e. combo drive, FW800, USB2, 128 MB Vram), and then it would give you the various machines that can be configured that way, with prices... I was planning on doing something similar eventually. Maybe the ability to turn columns or rows on and off.
How about having a seperate BTO column, instead of cramming it in with the standard config? What are your thoughts on that?

It's nice, one minor detail though: the border (shadow) doesn't blend to well with the background. It's not immediatly apparent on Safari because it adjusts to the width of the page, but on other browsers you can see a rectangle surrounding the shadow. Otherwise it's cool
edit: oops, munkle beat me to it

Ok. Apolgies again but I guess I didn't make myself clear. Yes the pages are written in ASP, I wrote them myself but like any other web page it's still just text at the end of the day. Unlike HTML you can't just view the page source and edit it though since the HTML you are seeing could just be something that is rendered by the server. What I'm after is something that can FTP to my site, download a file and then edit it using a text editor before reuploading
Your Mac can do that with anything special. You can use Cyberduck as an FTP client...
http://cyberduck.ch/
For a decent WYSIWYG editor, I like Coda. I'm not sure if it will give you ASP (I assume classic) info, but it will at least help with the HTML.

Interesting update, for those that care/may be wondering. As a test, I grabbed a 2 GB Ram stick from my laptop and placed it in one of the free slots on my iMac. Computer now reports 6 GB RAM installed, but the 2 x 2GB already installed now underclock to 1067. It seems that Ram will always run as fast as the slowest installed. Still, 6 GB @ 1067 has to be better than 4 GB @ 1333, right?

I would hope Steve would throw that thing at whatever moron engineer/ designer showed it to him!:D
I went to Radio Shack the other night and the store manager was tripping over himself to show me a new Sprint phone with *gasp* a color screen. I told him I was waiting for an OSX enabled phone from Apple. He said, "but we have a completely digital system built from the ground up."
uh, ok...

Not quite. You said c&p the whole quote. I said only need to c&p the quote= part (the bit with square brackets and the poster's name inside). Each to their own. Maybe I shouldn't have said 'much faster', but it works for me.
Just to make sure I'm not misunderstanding, if I click the multi-quote buttons on post #2 and #3 and click "Post Reply", then use your method to "erase the first /quote, and paste (or retype it) after the second /quote", I get this, which isn't accurate, since it makes it look like I quoted iStudentUK:
The only way I know how to do it is to copy the quote and paste it manually within the quoted post. If the quote came from another post, as in your example, you can use the multi-quote button (http://images.macrumors.com/vb/images/buttons/multiquote_off.gif) to get both quotes in your reply, then cut and paste the original post into the post that quoted it.
Thanks, that is the method I have been using. It just seems a bit inelegant!
If I use my method, I get this, which is accurate, showing that iStudentUK quoted me:
