No matter how slow it was rolling its still a big deal, even the slightest bump from another car can derail especially with the condition of the tracks on da tube

Hmmm, now is it going to be worth it to me pay for this and XBL? I hope they have enough features to make me want it.

Thats what i thought.... And then i saw Unicom and thought this was about them making a generic copy of the iPhone 4. :o
If they were making a clone they would be called HTC, Motorola, Google, or Microsoft.

For what it is worth, I have to say I have always gone with crucial and had no issues
I second this. Crucial just works.

I have no problems like you have with 10.6 with my 2007 iMac and my 2009 MBP and I run more than the average software titles. There are some hiccups (Tiger was the most stable version of Mac OS X in my eyes), but I can live with it.
Maybe you can tell us more about your situation and we might be able to help you?

There are a lot of lessons to be learned here. It's a new world out there.
Yes, believe nothing that you read, and only half of what you see. :D

does anyone know anything about backpacks for laptops that you can use to go biking? As in a bag thats meant for biking
Check out these:
http://www.comuta.co.uk/
They're awesome for carrying stuff on a bike, great protection, and if you drop the bag, your laptop doesn't have a problem.

The second example is really significantly front-focused, and is shot at f/2.8, so I don't think your focus and recompose technique is to blame (I'd expect a lot less change in focus using the slight focus and recompose you've used here).
Did you lock focus on the eyes and then recompose? Is it possible that you re-focused after you recomposed?
i had a similar problem with my nikon 50mm, inconsistent focus and hunting for focus, even after i locked it. Problem was, I thought i locked it, but i didn't check the settings on the camera iteself. I was set up for continuous focus instead of single focus, which accounted for the lens hunting and refocusing everytime i tried to compose a shot.
not sure if this helps, but once i did realize my error of not resetting the camera for what i was trying to do, the problem was gone.
Both of these sound like a good analysis of what may ahve caused your issues. I have a nifty 50 which I got recently but have only had it out once so far and did not notice any issues. But I was not doing potrait like fotos either. good luck.

What will you be using it for? I always suggest the Mac mini as the "switcher machine." But a Power Mac G4 will also be nice, especially since it is easy to upgrade.

Unless they change the power supply the only thing really to update is either the price or the capacity.
I thought they had fixed the capacitor problem. The first batch (1 year+) was dying, but have they continued to die for newer models?
ive had, the original 512gb die at 14months, a 2Tb die at 8 months, and another "2nd gen" 1Tb die at 14 months.
the only thing they "fixed" was a firmware update that keeps the HDD spun down as much as possible to minimise heat build up and turns the internal useless fan on low almost all the time, the components in my original TM and the new TM are identical apart from the upgrade double antenna WIFI and bigger HDD.
apple will ignore a design fault if they can "patch around it" and potentially fix it if they can be bothered to way down the line

I like the wood look ones as well. If they are real wood, though, I'd imagine they aren't dishwasher safe, which effectively cancels my interest, (lazy). :)

OWC -- Hall of Fame. They've never done me wrong.
We Love Macs -- Hall of Fame. Again, never a problem.
PowerBookMedic I wouldn't put on either list. I've had positive experiences with them and negative experiences. They seem to handle the little things fine, but when it comes to DVD drives, be careful.

Spymac last night posted saying no new hardware @ the Apple expo! Looks like the DP Powerbook is out of the question :)
And for those of you who arn't fans of Spymac, ThinkSecret just posted the same thing.
Sucks to be an Apple user :) Just kidding, I'm happy with my new PM.

Look at it this way, if you want your iPod Touch to look as generic as the millions of others; be my guest, but I'd rather be a rebel than a person who's willing to be one of the iPod Touch owners afraid of change...
Why even buy an iPod Touch like the millions of other sheep and continue to line God Jobs' pockets when you could buy some other device and give Steve-O the finger?
